1:30 - 2:50 3:30 - 4:50   Singing - Level: all (the student must be familiar with the Flamenco rhythm)- Teacher: El Rubio de Pruna - Length: 80 Mins
The purpose of this class is to teach students vocal technique and to familiarize with the metric pattern of Alegrías de Córdoba and Tangos. As you will see in El Rubio de Pruna’s bio, he is really a sought after teacher and singer.

12:00 - 1:30 2:00 - 3:30   Guitar Technique & Accompaniment - Level: Int to Adv - Length: 90 Mins - Teacher: Oscar Lago - This course is to introduce students to the Fundamentals of metric technique and structure, as well as the fundamentals of accompaniment to singing, starting a complete study of rhythmic styles and variations. In this class, the teacher will work with the following Palos: Solea and Buleria. Free access to Singing Technique class included. As you will see in Oscar’s bio he has worked with amazing artists and he is very much in demand.

The teacher will provide footwork and bodywork exercises to strengthen the Flamenco dancer.
As you will see in Ruben Olmo’s bio, he is one of the most sought after teachers and has choreographed pieces for many of today’s high level artists.

3:00 - 4:20 5:00 - 6:20   Dance Choreography - Level: Beg/Int - Length: 80 Mins - Teacher: Ruben Olmo – Palo: Alegrias: The teacher will teach us his personal touch to choreography. This dance class is for the beginner to intermediate dancer. The singer(El Rubio de Pruna) and guitarist (Oscar Lago) will accompany the class as needed. This class is not suitable for the absolute beginner. As you will see in Ruben Olmo’s bio, he is one of the most sought after teachers and has choreographed pieces for many of today’s high level artists. $ 260 For the week 
4:30 - 5:50 6:30 - 7:50   Dance Choreography - Level: Int/Adv - Length: 80 Mins -Teacher: Ruben Olmo – Palo: Seguirillas: The teacher brings us a more challenging choreography. This class is for the intermediate/advance dancer. The guitarist (Oscar Lago) and singer ((El Rubio de Pruna)| will accompany the class as needed. The teacher will introduce the student to Flamenco. Come on down and see what this is all about. THIS CLASS IS FREE BUT ONE MUST REGISTER BY E-MAILING info@torontoflamencofestival.com with subject line INTRODUCTION TO FLAMENCO (for kids, adult, 55+).  There are 3 level of Intro classes offered - one for kids 6 to 12, another for adults, and one for over 55 years of age.  Dress Code: Comfortable clothing, NO FLAMENCO SHOES

3:15 - 4:15 3:15 - 4:15   Learn to play the Castanets: Level: Absolute Beginner - Length: 60 Mins - Teacher: Pamela Briz - This course is to introduce the student to the Fundamentals of playing the castanets.  A minimum of 10 students is needed to run this class.  Dress code: Comforable clothing, running shoes $ 60 For 3 days 
4:30 - 5:30 4:30 - 5:30   Learn the Sevillanas: Level: Absolute Beginner - Length: 60 Mins - Teacher: Carmen Romero - This course is to introduce the student to Flamenco dance, the Sevillanas.  This is the only dance in Flamenco that remains the same, no matter where one goes.  A minimum of 5 students is needed to run this class.  Dress code: Comfortable clothing, comfortable dress shoes - NO FLAMENCO SHOES $ 60 For 3 days
