Alicia Márquez

Image descriptionAs an artist and a teacher, Alicia's passion for Flamenco is inspirational. Her desire is to bring people closer to this art form by sharing the depth of her knowledge. Alicia is a patient teacher and strives to make her students express feeling and individuality through dance. Her strength is teaching is in coaching to combine expression with technique, understanding of rhythm and structure, and the role of the guitarist and singer.
Alicia's first steps in the flamenco world were at the early age of 10 and has learned from great teachers like Matilde Coral, Mario Maya, Manolo Marin, Manolete, and Jose Antonio.
Alicia joined the "Compañia Andaluza" where she worked with great choreographers like Maria Pages, Fernando Romero, Manolo Marin, Eva La Yerbabuena, and the great Antonio Gades among others.


Nano

Image descriptionNano is stunning on stage with a powerful presence of a true Flamenco male lead.
He began his dance career in the Conservatorio de Danza Ribarroja (Valencia) and has performed internationally as a company member of Compañia Cristina Hoyos, Adrián Galia, Mecedes Ruiz, and as a solo artist on Broadway and sharing the stage with some of the Flamenco greats like Manolo Marín, Juana Amaya and Rafael Amargo.
Today, Nano also enjoys teaching Flamenco around the world and is an award-winning choreographer imparting passion and enthusiasm in all his classes.


Jesús Corbacho Vásquez

Image descriptionJesús is a young, aspiring singer who found his love for Flamenco at a very early age and has been winning awards ever since. He uses all the traditional tonalities and cantes, can sing from any palo, and has a huge repertoire. Today, Jesús teaches at La Fundación Christina Heeren de Sevilla along side the likes of Paco Taranto, Esperanza Fernández and José de la Tomassa. Jesús also accompanies some the stars of Flamenco dance both on in class and internationally on stage like Milagros Megibar, Belén Maya and Alicia Márquez among others.


Manuel Pérez

Image descriptionManuel is a gifted guitarist with both a strong technique and an amazing ability to accompany both baile and cante with an innovative approach. Manuel also has a deep understanding of the traditional forms of Flamenco guitar and has worked with some of the best names in Flamenco like Cristina Hoyos, María Pagés, Fernando Romero, Isabel Bayón, Rosario Toledo, and Javier Latorre.
